you just need to invest on the mask la. Like Jonathan said, can get cheaper ones from previous year models. Can rain anytime whether it is morning, afternoon or evening. Some more Kemensah's site can play NIGHT missions!
And more did you realise how they wash the mask?? just spray water, give it to the next game. Some of the mask they use last sunday was already soggy(i think either sweat or the water used to rinse) when they got them, no wonder it fog up even faster.
no need to get 400 bucks mask now la. 100++ should do liao.
Can get rm90 mask also the Switch EL (EL = entry level)

no frills, but you've got to take care for the lens... the lens on the inside already have anti-fog layer that can come out if you wash it too much.. i usually just spray it with a little water from spray bottle and leave to dry and not wipe it esp on the inside..
Soap water / dish washing liquid mixed with some water can be sprayed onto the lens and left to dry on its own and it'll also act as an anti fog later...
just put the dishwasing liquid, not too much dishwashing liquid tho else it'll affect the strenght of the lens due to chemical reaction if too much.. just spray it with a bottle like the ones u use for ironing clothes one.. u can use in on rental mask and spray it on and leave it to set and dry 1st... then wala..
in the getting ready picture, i see someone has a Dye invision mask hehehe good mask, tho a big hassle in taking it apart to clean. Oh btw for 2 layer lens.. don't soak the mask!! the water can go through the foam layer in between the 2 lens and cause it to separate and also cause condensation inside.
breathing techniques also help prevent fogging. Like breathing through your mouth downwards etc.. but quite some hassle and don't help that much tho might be something.
yes la. play in the afternoon the mask doesnt fog up that bad. the cheapest anti-fog mask also above 200. i'm just a student. cant afford too expensive toys. lol
the night ones in kemensah costs a bomb. i remember their rates is like almost 1.5x more than the normal rates. anyway, evening pun already cant see. night time lagi no need to play. haha...
anyway, have to reduce playing time already. ACCA exams coming up next year =(

only take tax IF you really, really and really LOVE tax and confident about it. that's a killer paper...so many sections and sub-sections, exemptions and what-nots. nice to read, killer to memorize and hell to take exam for.
so, if tax is your lover, then by all means, go ahead and smooch.
i dropped tax coz' they sounded like jawi to me. besides, trying to remember and apply the FRS for the other paper was enuff for me :)

weeliam, you can get the spray from any paintball shop. I saw it in Kelana jaya the other day. Maybe u may wanna call the shop first.
But like kevo said, the mask still stink and its not hygenic. We bought the mask not for gaya la, more of a hygenic purpose. what i said above is the cheapest solution lor.

like i mentioned earlier, knee pads and elbow pads the cheap white ones like the ones keepers use in futsal also can ady =D
you'll need the paintball specific padding for tournaments where they might be strict on the standard of clothing hehehe but for training and casual play, no need to pay so much for "paintball" kneepads =D save the money for other things.
Mask, Pants in my opinion comes quite high in terms of the money you want to put in, then followed by a good harness if you want. The pods can be cheap as replacing it when broken not so sakit hati lol. can get rm8 one i think ..
About the paint... i actually paid wayyy less than that.. tho it was because it for the teams who are playing in the league to practice so hence the low price.. i got it at rm180 last time per box for training and during tournaments. But its because we're shooting like 14-18boxes of paint per tournament anyway... so...
jon, thanks for your insights to the game. All of us are newbies here. Yeah, spend wisely. And most of us here played lesser than 5-6 games, so tourneys are out of the question. Some tourneys will require you to have full equipment right? even for marker if not mistaken.

So who's going next week to the championship?
I would welcome you guys to try tournaments, after all it's a whole diff level of playing but also do take the time to get yourself familiarized hehe, would be great if you had someone to coach the things from how to hold the marker, snapshooting and run and gun etc, to aspects of communications and tactical play such as crossing up etc. Not hard to learn in theory but takes some practice to hone in game as even alot of D3 guys make funny mistakes in tournament where the adrenaline runs real high..
there are many tournaments to suit your taste and ability as now. Don't be afraid to take up a challenge and let it be a learnin experience =D tho ask someone who's been playing awhile to teach and mayb start playing more as a team.. you will soon realise that this sport emphasises so much on teamwork and communication and trust as cheesy as it sounds but it's really true and i can cite so many examples hehehe
i can go on and on.. darn now i miss paintball more hahaha, can't wait to play again when i get back.
Of course you have to let me know what you guys are looking to play then perhaps i can point you to people who have helped me alot so they can also help give tips and basically have more kaki to play with so...
there are senario war games 150 vs 150 war games last time at kemansah to recreate jungle warfare.. it's called C&C (command and conquer hehee)
for me i play alot of speedball.. which i really like due to the fast paced action packed nature hahaha..
about the Arsenal game yeh...i went for the champions league game... wow ... watching Arsenal's game in person really a whole new level.. so great to watch the nice passing game and flicks and skills.. too bad no goals tho 0-0 ...end product lacking and lack the luck we needed but it was a great experience none the less.. hehe going back again next week for carling cup XD hahahaha

the championships as in the paintball Word Cup Asia ? Oh do go and check out the teams esp from Japan, Australia, South Africa and Iran teams.. Iran team Datis were champions i think last year. Do go and check out how speed ball is played... fast and furious with 5 guns blazing from the start at 15 pellets per second, emptying the 180pellet electronic loaders in about 10secs or less off the start esp for those at the back providing cover fire while the front man runs while avoiding the pellets and dives superman style into the bunkers .. super awesome.. i have also captured and edited some videos while i was not playing but working for tournaments as well. shame i don't have it on my com tho..

About the rm80 surcharge, its pretty normal la. Even in clubs when you bring your own bottles in, a fee of $130-200 is charged. Its just how they mae their money.
